P/S fluid for '01 Cadillac Deville

Just wondering if I should use ATF or a dedicated P/S fluid. I can't find the GM or Caddy reccomendation anywhere on the web. The 2 products I have on hand are Valvoline Synthetic PS fluid and BG Synthetic transmission fluid.
Any takers?

GM makes a good P/S fluid, available in any GM parts department

Yeah, I know I can go and get the GM fluid, but I already have the two above mentioned products on hand and was wondering if they are OK, or if any body had used them in a Caddy before.

Some people have said the Valvoline SynPower PS fluid has made their GM vehicles noisy. I've personally used it in 3 different GM cars with no issues at all. I have no experience using ATF in a GM power steering unit. If I were you I'd try the Valvoline PS fluid and see how it works unless someone with some expert advice knows better.

I went ahead and put the Valvoline in there after speaking to a valvoline tech and the service department of the local Cadillac dealer. SO far 3 days and no groaning or anything.
