Very anxious at first of course, but is really settling in, for only being here 3 hours.

Best of luck with your new family member.

Take him running....he looks the type.
The foster girl did take him running.

Unfortunately, those days are over for me. My love of running in my youth , has destroyed my left knee. My ortho said don't run on that knee unless you want a head injury. ( It locks at times.)

We got our GSD at six weeks old (avatar). After one year, we got him a pound puppy companion. They are great dogs, but do require a lot of attention.

Wyatt's a beautiful dog and lucky to have been adopted into a caring family. I hope you each have a fulfilling life together.

He has some sadness in his eyes
That said it looks like a great new life is ahead and his surroundings look like he landed in the right home.
Plenty of hugs and kisses will be needed.

He was rehomed once and the person was not using a leash, he fled. He was found in the woods by someone, they thought he was dead.
He had been hit by a car, broken hip.

He is completely healed now, but is somewhat anxious around cars.
