I've always had a medium to large dog and a couple of years ago we rescued a Chihuahua mix. She's a little yip yip lap dog that I never in a million years thought I'd adopt and I've never loved an animal more. Total and complete devotion to me and my family - I'd fight a freaking bear for her. Funny how these little dogs make their way so deeply into our lives. I'm sorry for your loss.
