Oriellys oil filters

I thought Oreillys oil filters were made by Purolator. One of the bright young employees told me they are now made by Fram. Any truth to this???

I've only seen Bosch, Pennz, K&N and Fram filters there.

Microguard were made by Puro, seemed decent, similar to closed out AAP Total Grip. Now reportedly Fram.

I picked one up about 4 weeks ago. It says on the box "manufactued by Purolator filters". There are 2 part numbers, the box says GL25288, That number has been covered up by a sticker that indicates it to be MGD# MGL3506 underneath that # (GL25288) and under that # says new UPC 009100542809. This filter application for a North* engine. If you pull it up at the Oreilly website there is a bit of confusion listing 2 filters with different discriptions. Priced different? Same numbers? I can see the anti-drainback valve in the filter I bought.
