WOW, it's STILL LISTEDThis is how my last packaged was delivered to me by Rock Auto via USPS.
I've also had issues with what RA claims will fit a particular vehicle. I had a nightmare scenario where I ordered an evaporator from them, completely disassembled the dash of the vehicle I was working on, only to find the part wasn't even close to fitting. Had to reassemble the vehicle and order the part OEM, wait 6-8 weeks and do the job over. It was for a family member but still a headache for me.
Not only were they unapologetic, I had to pay return shipping too. Even after I corrected their mistake, they refused to delist that particular evaporator. That means someone else probably went through the same experience as I.

Anyway, they have competitive prices but now you know why. When the sh*t hits the fan, it's not pretty as the customer. Doesn't mean I won't use them, or don't appreciate their website and selection. I'm sure most orders go off without a hitch. It's not difficult to package up some brake pads and ship them to a customer, so not exactly doing anything proprietary on their end other than having built up a huge supplier network.
This one of my fav all-time Reddit complaints about RockAuto:
"Rockauto's business models is you give them money, they give you an auto part. Usually it's the right one. Now please **** off. No you will not return that part and no you won't get your money back."
