Sorry that thiis "?" has such a generic from, but I do need your opinions...

I currently have a Baldwin a/filter in my tbird, and time is right for replacement.
I'm considering Wix(NAPAGOld), Baldwin and ACDelco filters this time.

--The Baldwin costs $12.88 at adiesel.com
--Wix is $8.64 and at Rockauto.com
--ACDelco is $4.86 at Autopartsgiant.com

(I can't find any place That carries NAPAgold nor the price, but from what I've read, it's=wix)

Factoring in the cost AND quality, which of the above would be best?
Thanks a lot in advance!

i dunno abut the baldwin i was looking to but one. i have an ac delco in my 95 plymouth neon. their webiste, has it rated, as an OEM and aftermarket filter, for cating up to 80% more contaminents. had it for about 6 months now. the quality of the paper filer, seems litle better than basic fram ones. i had a NAPA gold filter once, VERY good filter! it has more pleates than the average air filter. and is of very good paaper quality. i was lookng at wix too, and heard its the smae oas NAPA gold, ive never seen one up close. but going to soon. i think the ac delco would filter better, because they use to market their own version of pure one filters, ect so i am guessing, they know how to make a filter; )

Impossible to tell without looking at the actual filters, since rebranding has become so common nowdays.

I've used just about every brand of air filter known to man and I have to say that any of the three on your list will work well.

That said, however, I have personally found the Wix air filters to have the best across-the-board quality (based upon visual inspection alone). These days, I almost exclusively use Wix filters for air/transmission/fuel purposes. (I tend to use Motorcraft and AC Delco for oil filters, but I always *WANT* to buy the Wix oil filters!)

Plus, they're made in America.

I got the NAPA Gold #6093 filter today for $11.90

The construction is GREAT! The sturdiest filter I've ever had in my hand; better build-quality than both Motorcraft and even the Baldwin I had.

on the filter frame it says "made in USA"
and on the box it says "made for NAPA by Wix/Dana"
