My '96 Saturn w/120k burns a quart every 2-3k with conventional 5w30. It burns more if it is driven on the highway.
I tried using Auto-RX but it seemed to increase the consumption. I'm not too concerned about the oil consumption anyway because these engines will last a very long time.
