Those tires are huge! Walmart's cheapest tire by far is sold out, which is too bad since it was only $62. Next cheapest is the $110 Zeetex

I've no issues with Nokian tires or Douglas from Walmart. Both of those are made in the USA and are good quality for the price. The Douglas do wear out a bit fast, but the traction dry or wet is really good and I don't drive that much to justify paying for good Michelin tires that will just dryrot with only 20k miles on them.
I haven't got good results with Douglas tires. I have had good results with Solars. I got 60K miles out of my last set. I've had several sets of them. I've also got some Sceptors on now that have 4 years on them and going strong. They're both made by Sumitomo.
I think 225/70/16 when I put it in Tire Rack by '03 Highlander AWD.275 or 225?
275 is a VERY wide tire for a Highlander

Never had a problem with off brand tires. I do my research on them, make sure their " A " , " A " rated and at least " 500" on the treadwear. Walmart was running some good Black Friday sales. Maybe you'll catch some Cyber Monday sales somewhere. I never go with used though. Never know what you're getting going that route, and their usually too old anyway. Indonesian tires have served me well.
I put a set of Armstrong Blu-Tracs on my Camry last month (215/60R16) and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them at $63 a tire. They are a former American brand now made in Thailand, but I would buy them again in a heartbeat.
Local shop sells Ironhead. Made in Cambodia and Vietnam from what I saw. I currently have two sets of Hankook, made in Indonesia and USA.
If it's 225, there are a lot more options

275/70R16. Oklahoma, so winters aren't usually bad... Just want to stick to the road, we don't mind driving slow and safeWhat is your tire size? What climate are you in? Does winter/snow performance matter?
If money is tight, I would recommend the cheapest all-weather tires, such as Prinx Hiseason 4S HS1 or Lexani Quattro Tempo

Im running roadone ten ply on my truck but the tariffs have probably made them expensive now.
I put a set on my elantra for$58 a tire. Traction A temp A treadwear 700.
Not sure how long i'm keeping this car, so it got the armstrongs.
Thanks for the suggestions, keep em coming. I researched the Armstrongs and they have good reviews overall. I guess with any sub $100 tire, you might have some bad reviews along with the good... Some complaining about bubbles or cracks and Armstrong not standing by their warranty. But most are positive, yes. Luckily, tire easy still has them for the same price they did during black friday. I'm about ready to pull the trigger but still doing a little bit of research so keep this suggestions coming.
About a month ago I put on a set of Prinx Hicountry HT2’s on an SRW F350. Zero complaints. Didn’t take much weight to balance and ride fine at highway speeds.

I was thinking about starting a new thread on ranking reliable low priced tires but l found this one.
Anyone have a "good" budget all season/weather tire that is decent in the snow and ok on the ice?
I know it's not necessary but as BITGO'ers l think most of us like hidden gems and diamonds in the rough.
Some background:
I have purchased Yokohama avid, Continental control contacts, Arizona silver, Kumho(can't remember the tire), and Goodyear tripletreds.
I purchased the tripletreds 20 years ago and far away my favorite tire ever. I the control contacts were utter disappointments. Everything else was ok.
I heard they changed the triple tread from what l liked from 20 years ago and they don't make them for my current vehicle.
I would be interested in everyone's recommendations.

I remember when Sumitomo and Nitto were no name tires sold at Pep Boys and people were leary and dismissed them as cheap junk.
