0W20 and 5W30 that are Dexos licensed are all we have in bulk tanks at the Chevy dealer I work at, and that does cover the vast majority of oil changes. 90% or more is probably about right for us too. There's bottled oil for diesels and cars that specify Mobil 1, but we don't keep much for non-GM vehicles except some 5W20 synthetic blend because we use it fairly often on used cars.
Everything else comes from NAPA and AutoZone, or the Toyota dealer next door if we need 0W16.
Chain parts stores are catering big time to shops/commercial businesses. If I need oil and filter for a Mercedes, I just place an order online with NAPA and typically get it delivered in 30 minutes or less.
