Lol, what the [censored]?

I have had Canadian Armed Forces stop me on the highway before; middle of nowhere, dead of night, one single guy in green camo with a bright strobing flashlight flags me down and stops me. Doesn't say a word and two big Leopard tanks proceed to cruise across the highway followed by some sort of APC which he jumped into.

This Russian video however, did someone steal a tank? Either that or the liquor store must be closing soon.

lol, you're probably right about the liquor store...

those new leopard tanks look pretty impressive, but who seriously would mess with canada anyways?

Awww man.....

I was an armored crewman for years. They never let us take a track down to Burger King.

Oh, we would have done it. Without a moment's hesitation.

At my Guard unit, someone made the decision to have us park the M60A3 TTS on the black top. We gouged up some of the pavement and we weren't allowed to move it again for a long time.

Used to work in heavy haul trucking, escorting oversize trucks hauling giant steel pipes and enormous Caterpillar bulldozers.

In the hot sun with enough weight its stunning how quickly you can sink into asphalt...its like putty.

It did look like they were near a military installation, so perhaps the folks were accustomed to tanks crossing the road.

Way back in the '70s, and growing up on a farm in Kansas, our property was right underneath the path of where military jets would fly. These jets would fly extremely low, I guess to stay off radar, and they would sneak up on you fast. Often I would be out in the field on an open-cabbed tractor with no hearing protection, and one of them would fly extremely low right over me and scare the bejeebers out of me. I'm sure the pilots had a good laugh and would probably share stories about all the people that they scared back at their base.

crazy timing on this post. I was driving on a road I have never gone on before and went right through Ft. Pickett in Virginia. There were several signs that said tank crossing. I never saw one

When I worked up in PA at PBS coals, actually near the same mine that that the flight on 911 went down, there was a congressional "hideout" up near there and there were fighter jets and attack craft always flying around. Alot of A-10 would do low level fly-overs the strip job, they looked less thaan 50' off the trees and mountains when they flew over us. That video, doesnt do them justice. They came and went so fast and you didnt hear them till they were already gone, these were A-10 War Hogs, which were slow, by measure aginst actual fighter jets. All I could think of, was I ma glad they are ours, because I would not like to be on the other side and deal with something like that.
