I don't reckon these'll be good for more'n another two or three winters. 😉

FWIW - I replace winter tires when they reach 6/32”. Once the tread gets below that, they stop performing as well in the snow.

You could leave them on in the summer, run them down, and use them up - and I’ve done that, but winter tires in the summer are “squishy“. The soft rubber, the tall, tread blocks, they really don’t handle that well and I don’t care for the handling.

Those appear to be Nokian, by the way. A great choice in winter tires.

I've had a couple of sets develop flat spots, seemingly suddenly.

Sheesh, you're only just now pulling snows off? Must have been quite the winter! :ROFLMAO:

I don’t know how a tire even wears that badly!
They wore quickly this past winter. Last November they looked like they had one more winter left in them. In retrospect, they should have been scrapped then.

They were on Jr's Kia van. I think we changed over to the 3-season tires in April.

Good eye, they are Nokians, and served well, albeit for at least one winter more than they should have been run. Lesson learned.
