The Newoil is SO CLEAN i can BARELYsee it on the ipstick thats how CLEAN and NEW it is im STUNNED (NEVER seen oil LIGHTER than Amber brown,)and it seems to be 1/2 Quart above the Dipstick crosshairs.

Sooo.. SHOULD i go CRAZY trying to BRELY loosen the Drain Plug and het the "Half Quart" drain out? Or is it "OK?" And Why?

Im proud of myself, i got the Drain Plug on nice and tight this time.. Do i have to undo it?

I could take a pic of the Dipstick if you wish.. :) Ive NEVER seen oil that CLEAN before! 3 TIMES i looked at it. I know where the oil stops, but its SOO LESS than AMBER COLORED! I put the Valvoline MaxLife FULL SYNTHETIC 5W-30 in.

The Crosshairs range is "1 quart." it is over the max by Half the distanceof the Crosshairs.

My Car should be happy now, i watched the Oil drain out. First drained out the Oil, a little rough coming out perhaps that was Sludge, it was like Dirt ina Waterfall, it wasnt that bad actually.. THEN the Transmission fluid came out.

So, my car should be all happy for.. HOW many miles? :)

And how bad is it that i DIDNT change the Filter?

Was that a half qt full right after a short cool down or a half qt full after an overnight cooldown?

If it's really only half qt over I'd leave it....any more than that and I'd probably get under it again and drain a bit off.

Half quart over.. car has been sitting for 45 minutes.

I should check More Cold? .. Will level go UP or DOWN? lol .. ??

Since you didn't change the filter you will notice that nice clear color change. How bad is it? if you think it was sludged it's probably in bypass right now if its not in bypass you should be ok .Why didn't you change the filter? Get a puralator classic for small change and just drop the filter that will bring that oil level down also.

Your cool.....I just wanted to make sure you werent checking the level 2-5 minutes after shut down. In that case the level would rise a bit. Sounds like you are really 1/2 qt over....should be fine.

What is "Bypass"?

I dont know if the Filter is sludged. I mean, i had SeaFoamed the engine wice, and had 1/2 qt Transmission fluidin there.. (Trans fluid seemed to drain out AFTER the Oil,) and the Oil that came out was STILL kinda Transparent, if Sludge is REALY Gunky i had "Next to no" Sludge, i didnt take Video iof it coming out.

If i find ot what size Nut id the Iron Duke Oil Pan, ill change it.. but the oil will come out.. its IN the pan..

I thought it meant it was THAT good that it didnt get CONTAMINATED yet.... especially BRAND NEW Oil, AND my Inside SHULD be clean, except for that [censored] filter..

That Votrec is a good engine. the "W" VIN in my 1993 S-10 Blazer was KICK [censored].. the "Z" VIN in the 1991 was STILL not bad!

Ill check it again but.. ok what is BYPASS?

And doesnt CLEAN oil mean that nothing CONTAMINATED it yet?

That Valvoline MaxLife FULL SYNTHETIC is SOO LIGHT ive NEVER seen oil that light!...

oil in my truck usually stays amber or light honey colored for the first 2k miles then after 3k it gets darker. First 100 miles its clear.

That tranny fluid you put in there cleaned some stuff out. That's why you saw those chunks when you were draining the oil. That also means that there's probably even more of that gunk in the oil filter. You need to change that filter ASAP in my opinion.

"Bypass" refers to a valve that's inside the oil filter. If for some reason the filter gets clogged the "bypass valve" will open and let oil flow through the filter without going through the actual filter. Therefore it just keeps pumping the dirty oil back into the motor. If yours is sludged up this could be the case and that nice clean oil you have is going to get nasty very quickly.
