Used Oil Analysis?
Click on the Blackstone Banner Ad at the top of the Main Forum Home Page.They will send you some free Sample Taking Kits. The Test will be $20.00 + extra for the TBN (Acid Neutralizing ability remaining).
Alternative is to send it in through the local CAT dealer for SOS. Base Analysis is $12.00. You want to add the extra cost TBN so you can adjust change interval.
Drive the car and then drain the oil hot and catch the sample at mid-drain.
Alternative is to purchase a Vacuum kit and suck it up the dipstick tube if you dont want to change the oil. Pumps are $25.00 at CAT last I checked or you can order from easyvac.com
