I'm a BIG fan of the TFS-R on these engines. Pretty much a straight shot at the back of the intake valve. I've posted some vids for a combo very similar to yours if you care to search for them.
TFS-R Lower:
yeah i know.. im gonna keep the truck style upper cause the Throttle body... and the upper breathes VERY well.. the lower has always been the hold back.. but it's still not bad and about equal to a GT40 lower.. the upper for the truck is much better though.. + throttle body is much much bigger..
Agreed, the truck upper is fine. I'm just thinking if you could E-Bay a Systemax lower, it might benefit your combo
plan on it.. first thing is to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on it.. it's just slightly lean on top-end by reading the plugs.. but not very lean..
then will be shift kit and shift adjuster for the AOD behind it...
DONT WORRY.. the AOD was rebuilt and UPgraded a year ago and 5k miles ago... it's bullet proof.. only thing i didnt do was shift kit and shift adjuster to bring the shift point up higher..
