Tried to dig around and see if I could find my exact question, but I didn’t see it. Anyway, my owners manual list the Ford WSS-M2C961-A1 5w30 specification. I have found several API SP oils that have the older Ford WSS-M2C946-B1 5w30 specification, but these are also current API SP and ILSAC GF-6 oils. So would these be okay to run in regards to the warranty even though they list the older Ford 5w-30 spec? Is API SP the more prominent spec/approval I should be looking for?
