It's federal law to have catalytic converters installed and functional. Just because Florida is lax about enforcing it does not mean you're not breaking it.

It's one of those federal unfunded mandates that they expect teh state's to enforce. Yeah, good luck with that ...
 
Any 5w50 should work well for that car. What is your intended driving conditions with it? Will you daily drive it year-round? Just to go to McDonalds and back? Any track usage? There's Castrol Edge 5w50 which is MUCH easier to find than the ones you mentioned in your OP.

QSUD 5w50 is a very reasonable $6/qt on Amazon right now

If you're not taking it to the track and just driving it the way most exotic sports cars are driven in the US (which is hardly at all just to a couple car shows and back), then you could even step down to a 40 or even 30. In this case, M1 or Castrol 0w40 or BC 0w30 would be better for you.
