Yeah i kick myself in the [censored] for not getting on the FGT when they were $150k now i had to drop double lol. I used to have a 1000whp supra that i no longer have. This is the current collection now plus the FGT.

I care. This is 2017. There's ways to make lots of power cleanly with the cats in place, especially on a modern computer-controlled engine. It's totally unnecessary.
 
The car itself is unnecessary, when did that ever factor into car collecting? Besides it's not just for performance, it will sound insane with no cats.

True, there are lots of High performance cats that make great power, also having cats helps with being safely within the ranges of the law.
 
No matter how you slice it removing the cats net about another 25whp. This is a proven fact with hundreds of Ford GTs that have been tuned with or without them. Even "racing cats" dont net same results not even close. And i am not breaking any laws. I live in the great state of Florida and we do not have to have cats. Neither my Diablo 6.0 or Murci LP640 have cats either and they sound insane like formula 1 cars. Would not have it any other way.
 
They are your cars, if you prefer the sound and/or performance without cats and have no issues with registration or inspection than go for it. I seriously doubt one vehicle (or four) mkes any difference whatsoever in air quality. Nice rides!

It's federal law to have catalytic converters installed and functional. Just because Florida is lax about enforcing it does not mean you're not breaking it.

If I lived in Florida I would have limo tint all around and Borla long tubes without cats. Plus considering how little this car will probably be driven, the environmental impact will be minimal.

FWIW I had a Bassani offroad X pipe on my 98 Mustang GT, and it sounded awesome. Plus the gains were noticeable.
 
OPer, if you are driving through Jacksonville and happen to pass a Dodge Neon with 4 different tires and body parts of 3 different colors, please smile and wave at the driver...probably a relative of mine.

Had an extended "vacation" there as a kid when I'm pretty sure my mom was going to leave my dad and we stayed with her family. My guess is she couldn't find a good job and we ended up heading back home after a month or so. I was young enough that all I remember clearly is St. Augustine fort and a road trip to Miami through Orlando in a really crummy rented Vega, plus a bus tour to Key West. Mom told me we were just on a fun trip, but I pieced things together with my sister's help when I got older.

What is that white car in the center of the picture ?
Is it a Bentley ? What year and engine ?

If you look at the two M1 50 grade oils
M1 5W50, HTHS = 4.4 cP and Zinc = 1100 ppm
M1 15W50, HTHS = 4.5 cP and Zinc = 1300 ppm

Both are suitable, but the 15W50 is a slightly stronger oil (more HTHS) and with more zinc. Being a narrow viscosity spread, it will also be more shear stable. The 5W50 is a better year round and country wide oil, as it will be much better for cold starts (below 0F). But if you have no sub-zero winters to worry about, then I would go for the stronger and more shear stable 15W50.
 
That is a fine car you have there. Beautiful!

Mobil 1 15W-50 is a proven oil for high-strung V8s used in many racing series. I also don't think you can go wrong with their 0W-50 as long as you change it often.

It is a Bentley Continental GT with the W12 twin turbo engine tuned to about 650hp.
