What didn't you like about the RP or Mobil 1 Extended Performance?
RP was the first oil I switched to as soon as the motor broke in, around 2k mi. I noticed that it burned off a lot before 3k mi. I had to put in about a quart in between. So I switched to Mobil 1 Extended Performance. Its a good oil and the burnoff was noticeably less. Im just looking for better alternatives that offer excellent protection, maximum performance, and cleansing abilities. Since I've heard so many good things about PP, why not try PU next?

GC is too thick IMO and would make the motor feel sluggish. It did so in my S2000.
Also, I recommended Amsoil along with Redline and PU in my post above.
Thanks, those sound like excellent recommendations. I think I'll run Redline in the summer since thats when I really get on the car, and PU in the winter.
