oil for pontiac firebird 92

i have pontiac firebird 92 3.1 v6 112500 miles on it.i probaly gonna use gm goodwrench motor oil 5w30 or 10w30.(5w30 is prefferred but 10w30 can be used at temperatures above 0f.-from my owners manual) which one i should choose? i only drive summertimes and i dont think that 5w30 should be used,i think it could shear down to be 5w20 at high speeds.

would 10w30 be better?i change my oils every 3000miles

I would use Pennzoil High Mileage 10w30 or Castrol High Mileage 10w30 in that car.

here is ac delco 10w30, gm goodwrench 10w30 and 10w30 76 super synthetic blend.castrol high mileage is available here,but it is 15w40.i tried to order mobil 7500 oil from mobil stores in sweden but they dont order me mobil synthetic blend 10w30.i dont know why.but they have mobil super s synthetic blend 10w40 api sl/cf i think it is made in europe.

yeah, it is a3b3 it is printed in the oil bottle and it has api sl/cf. i have send e-mail to gm and they said that gm goodwrench motor oils are: GM Goodwrench oils are produced for GM,
Mobil is a competitor brand.

Is German Castrol 0W30 (LongTec) available in Sverige? How much does it go for?

I don't see why you'd change from Shell Helix plus - 10-40 if its A3. I would quess you can get 5-30 from Ford dealers. Goodwrench is probably EXXON Mobil. The union 76 blend is probably like Motorcraft (ford blend) and does ok on oil tests. The ford blend is probvably a good choice.

it is true,most cars here are volvo and saab cars.i came sweden from finland about two years ago,and its funny to see that everywhere you go and after every corner you find usually volvo.but here is american cars too and other cars,of course.my pontiac is from belgium,nice shape and condition and im planning to keep it that way. it just sad because they dont make firebirds or trans am anymore
