oil for modified truck

just looking for opinions (opening a can of worms) on whether or not I can run my full synthetics 7k or dino at 5k with the slight mods listed below:

2001 Ford F150 with 5.4L, 92k miles
Hypertech Power Programmer increased 1-2 and 2-3 shifts by 300 RPMS and redline by 400 RPM's.
K&N Series 77
flowmaster cat back dual exit
looking at headers (only due to the fact that i have to drop the manifolds due to rusted studs and now a leak)

just wondering because I see on the Amsoil site that they don't provide the warranty/guarantee/recommendation for extended drains on vehicles with any mods.

In my opinion, there should be no problem taking synthetic to 7k miles with a quality oil filter.Don't trust an orange can fram.One option would be to have an oil analysis at 5k.

Heck no, I run MC filters. I was going to get the analysis done, but I never seem to run the same oil two OCI's in a row....

Looks like you run about 15000 miles a year. Go with Redline 10w30 for one year OCI (UOA at 9 or 10K the first time)
