I did an oil analysis on this car with the stock pullied Eaton on it with bolt ons.
I ran BMW Castrol HP 5w30 with a bottle of Lubro Moly and 1oz per quart of GM EOS. I ran an oil test from Blackstone and the result were stellar.
The was when the car had around 530 HP and 580 Torque at the engine.
Now the car makes around 700 HP and 670 Torque at the engine.
Vehicle is an 03 Cobra 10Th Anniversary with 53k miles on it, a lot of modifications and the power comes from a modified version of the Eaton TVS 2300 with a 2.8 pulley that comes on the 2013 GT500. I few other GM models use this same supercharger. Anyhow engine is stock and sees around 18 lbss of boost, depending on condtions.
These engines came from the factory with Forged Cranks, Manely H-Beam rods, forged pistons and more of a race spec type of rod and main bearings.
I use Mobil 1 0w-40 with the same brew during the summer and BMW Castrol 5w30 (same crew) in the winter.
I still haven't gotten around to doing a used oil analysis of the Mobil.
I love the add pack in the Mobil 1 15w-50 but I think my 170 T-stat is too low for that heavy of an oil unless I took to the road course for a track event.
Just asking for some input or advive.
Thanks
