You want to let the turbo cool off. If you are out driving with boost, lots of heat from that turbo and its still spinning quite fast.. Rule of thumb with any turbo, is to let it sit for at least 30 seconds after spirited driving.
As for what oil. I think redline or Motul 300v would be suited for you, especially for your short oil change interval.
