Make sure to use a quality filter as well.

The trip is a move to a warmer climate. Job relocation otherwise I'd stay in the -30 winters. So I won't really need the lightweight oil any more and nobody bought a 5qt unopened jug of Mobil 020 for $10 at our garage sale. Idiots!

Use the 5w-20.

Dodge Neon 2000 can go faster than that. 4k RPM at 90mph!

What does speed have to do with RPM? Completely different cars and gear ratios/red lines. I'm talking highway cruising speed but I'm glad your sweet Neon can go faster than my sweet Civic???

So it looks like 5w30 wins. That's the jug at the front of my shelf, too. Then I'll probably use the Mobil 1 0w-20 next year mixed with 0w-40 for the summer oil change.

Honda engines are easy on oil, 4000-5000 RPM is nothing for Honda engines, my S2000 is spinning at 5000 RPM at 90 MPH and it can run hours without any problem.

Mixing Mobil 1 0W20 with 0W40 is what I have in my S2000 engine now, the regular 10W30(conventional or synthetic) has HTHS around 3.0-3.1, with 40% 0W20 and 60% 0W40 the HTHS is around 3.4 for 4500-5000 RPM most of the time.
