Oil Filter, white 18.5 BS

White 18.5 BS, you guys where so helpful with my JD I thought I would try again. My father in-law is having trouble finding a cross-reference oil filter for the above lawn tractor, Thanks

Sorry, That would be a BS 19.5 hp, not 18.5
Would it be the same as My 22 V BS JD, and could it be the same as the 18.5 ?

Anton, if you've got the room, just pop on a motorcraft FL400A, (gasp) fram PH3600 or equiv. You get more oil capacity and a filter thats easier to grab hold of for removal/replacement.

Yes that works with my JD, But my father inlaw has a whithe tractor and it has no room for one of those big filters. he is paying $10.00 per at the dealer? yikes Just thought I could find one at Canadian Tire, store or wal-mart,napa. same size as the stock filter. I did put the PH 3600 on my Jd nice,I like it. cost me $4.00 at Canadian tire.
