I am familiar with motorcraft since my wife has a Mercury and her particular filter has a silicone adbv, and $3.xx is pretty good for what is essentially a purolator pureone. I looked into it for the Jaguar, thinking that since it is (not for long) a Ford product that they will carry something. The thunderbird takes the same size filters so I put the thunderbird into the application guide on the motorcraft website, and the website said that Motorcraft doesn't make filters for the thunderbird, which I found odd. Or at least they don't list one. So, are you sure that it would fit?
