Was at Advanced Auto yesterday. Was surprised to see Mobil 1 & K&N filters priced at $12-14 while PureOne filters were at $7. I have been getting Carquest Blue/Wix premiums for around $5 and Denso for $3. I think I will stick with these.

You can't go wrong with DENSO filters for $3. Are they the blue "First Time Fit" (FTF) aftermarket ones? What part number?

I've been using DENSO FTF 150-1010 filters on my Nissan and have cut a few open. (See here.) They're high-quality filters and I like using them since my brother works for the company.

Yes they are the First Time Fit Denso filters that I bought from Carquest. It is goin in my Odyssey for a 7500 mile OCI with Pennzoil Platinum or Pennzoil Ultra. Should I pick more up at that price? I can get Carquest Red filters for $1.79 a piece or Blues for $5.29. What would you go with?

At $3 per filter, I would pick some more up. That's a really, really good price for a very good filter.

A Carquest Blue is essentially a WIX or NAPA Gold, correct? If I'm not mistaken, the Carquest Blue / WIX / NAPA Gold have thread-end bypasses and the result is slightly less filtering media. Nonetheless, they too are very good filters.
