I just picked-up another NAPA Gold 1036 oil filter for my dad's oil change.

This time the store clerk was nice enough to charge me the 'garage/mechanic's' rate of $4.99Cdn +taxes for one.

I wish I could use the HP2006 on my Vette, but the lower stance plus the thinner oil pan means an HP2006 is not possible, I must use the stock HP1007. But no Canadian Tire keeps them in stock, so they must be ordered. I am hoping Parts Source carries them in stock though, I'll be checking out the new one in Brampton this weekend to see.

How did you make out Patman ... does Parts Source carry any the HP1007s or HP2006s in stock ?

Nope.

I hate ordering them from Canadian Tire, it always takes them a few days to get them in and it's a bit of a hassle. Next time I'm going to order 5 or 6 at a time instead of just 2 at a time.
