Oil filter for restomod

I have 66 Chevy C10 with LS motor (built). Been using AC Delco Gold UPF61R oil filter. They are built stronger, thicker can & heavier base plate. However hard to find local. Scared of regular Delco PF61E, fiber end caps. Opinions on comparable replacement ?

At least those don’t separate like metal ones. I prefer them, or no end caps at all.

Are you near any Oreilly’s Autoparts? My favorite filter at the moment is their MicroGard Select. Very nice quality for $11.
