Oil filter alternative question

I have a Hammerhead 150LE go kart that has a Polaris chintzy chinesium oil filter part number 6.000.218 (aka HF183 best I can tell). I was wondering if anyone had any way to source an alternative from Napa, etc. I have searched the usual spots of oilfilter-crossreference.com and even went to my trusted Napa store with a filter without luck. I can't tell thread pitch in person, but know the best cross reference result I got was the following link using one of the "alternative" part numbers:

I want the best filter for this little engine, but can't tell what that would be. Champion COF083 any good? Mahle OC731 better?

TIA.

I'm in my 60's. I remember when I was much younger that I was told technology would solve the world's problems. Specifically that it would make theft and other nefarious actions nearly obsolete. Banks accounts, cars, homes, etc would all be "safer" because theft would be thwarted by barriers that ne'er-do-wells could not breach.

But here we are ... Thieves are not dumb. They've adapted by using tech to beat tech.

Ironically, I'm of the opinion that a theft-resistance car would be something from the 60's or 70's, with ol' skool capacitor ignition, manual door locks, and a stick-shift. Most folks under 50 years old would have no idea how to break into or operate such a car.

Manual transmissions are known as millennial anti-theft devices.

Any oil filters you'd recommend?

If it is indeed a HF183 (HiFlo brand), then why not just use that? Those are good oil filters.

I've only been able to use the numbered part above. The HF183 is assuming the part number is correct via the internets.

IF it is compatible, I've never heard of HiFlo before. I assumed they were trash and wanted quality. If they're "good," that's great! If they suck, I still want a better one.

Hiflos are very good filters.
Remarkably, unlike some other filter manufacturers, Hiflo doesn't appear to have cut corners over the past few years. The Hiflo HF303 I bought a few months ago looks the same as the one I bought years ago. Still uses holes in the center tube, and bypass integrated into the end cap.

You can buy an HF183 off Amazon, inspect it to see if it's the right fitment, and return if it isn't.

Good to hear about not cutting costs!!!

Is there a non amazon place you'd recommend for ordering? I have gotten counterfeit auto parts from them before.
