Oil filter adapter problem on 4.6 Ford?

Anybody ever see the oil filter mounting stud come loose on the 4.6 2V modular motors? Oil change guys said mine did on the '12 E-250 in my sig, wondering if it's safe to keep driving it. A search didn't show much about it, hopefully somebody has seen this before?

its from an overtightened oil filter. Use a little dab of locktite and it shouldnt come loose again. IIRC its a 14mm allen head.

Yup, the stud loosening is from the filter being over tightened. Only issues with the adapters is the gaskets leak where it bolts to the block.

No, the Valvoline Instant Oil Change guys, which is who the fleet company (Enterprise) usually wants us to use. Jiffy Lube is only for vans that have junk engines already, to finish them off!
