Oil availability going forward

Goofing around at Amazon and seen this under "See all buying options". Still $22.47 at Wally.

Pretty soon we'll be seeing threads pop up asking "Can anyone spare a jug of 5w30".

I haven't had issues with getting oil around here yet. 5W40 diesel oil takes a little looking, but you can get it.

Ordered 2 jugs of PUP 0w-20 from Amazon ($24.97 ea.) Not in stock and the wait time is May 16. Same price quoted at WalMart online. However the 3 jug case of same oil is in stock but price is $117.59

So… Supply and demand. But somewhere in the logistics to get the 5 quart jug Pennzoil determined in 2 months supply will be back.

Hi all, I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this; or if it's just my imagination?
Costco only has a few Kirkland oil options in stock on their website, and in store the other evening they had very little M1 or Kirkland. Walmarts near me also seem hit or miss with stock. My local AA only has 6 cases TOTAL on their oil wall.
I noticed the website situation last night.

Taters have a short shelf life but when I was in the big house we made shine from tater skins
The Germans made fuel out of them also. I may not be able to go anywhere but I’ll have a full belly. I expect a shortage of that in the future. Just a conspiracy theory.

Those are all third parties that are listed on Amazon but not sold by Amazon themselves. I can go on and list a jug for $1,000,000 on Amazon but that doesn't mean it's going to sell.

Amazon has the Extended Protection 5w-30 5quart in stock to be fulfilled and sold by them for $25.97 as of the time of this post.

What about 3,250.5? ☹️
Rounds up to 3251, sorry. No can do.

Realistically, I try to shoot for yearly oil changes on everytthing if I can. I kept the subaru to 6000 for warranty purposes. But the Grand Marquis is getting a yearly change Probably 8000-10000.

The other vehicles don't see enough mileage to matter.
