i was in wal mart last night and checked oil prices
maxlife blend 13.50
Valvoline conventional 13.00
Pennzoil conventional 14.50!!!
pp 26.00
gtx high mileage 18.50!!
st 10.00
st syn 18.00
what is the deal?? except maxlife oil is skyrocketing!!!
i last year gtx hm was 13.50
last month Pennzoil conventional was 11.00!!!

My Walmart has PP for $23.50 and PU for $28, all 5 quart jugs. Crazy prices. I wish MC 5w30 SYN came in 5 quart jugs instead od single quarts.

PP still $23.50 here. PU $26.50 except the 5w20 looked to be rolled back to $25.

Pennzoil conventional went from $12 to $14.50 some time ago here. New SN may have something to do with that. MC Syn Blend 5w20 went from $12 to $14 before Pennzoil conventional rise.

Quaker State, which unlike MC5K, has 5w20 in jugs, is $12 in all weights. Decent.

$13/13.50 low prices compared to normal for Valvoline conventional/ML.

You guys crack me up.
In my country, Pennzoil conventional sells for $20
PU for $37
Edge for a whoping $47

What's funny is right before the new Pennzoil conventional formula I managed to get 2 jug's of the new stuff for $13

Oil is cheap at Walmart,,use one of the top 5 brand names and use the search section and ur autos owners manual recommendation to make a final selection. Oil is cheap, ask yourself this:: how much is a new or rebuilt engine cost next to a 5 qt jug of oil by shell, qkrstate,PP,etc.

PYB at $14.50/jug is STILL less than $3/quart. You'll never find it at that price (regular price anyway) anywhere else. Motorcraft is $14/jug at our Walmart.

Walmart, like any other commercial business, will adjust local prices to meet local demand.

This is what Walmart in my area sells for. I don't know if I should jump on it and stock up or if the prices will stay. I am impressed with the AZone specials this month and AAP has a real lousy one. I think AZ is trying to step it up. Sales end jan.10th.

PP is still 23.50 here... all others are the same too. Next time I need oil though, I'm going to buy the Mobil Drive Clean 5000, which my Walmart has in 5Qt jugs for $11.50

dont buy at p.boys,,,i will try to be calm,,dont go there for oil.

Pennzoil Conventional is $14.50 here and I think it has been if I remember correctly. PP is still $23.50.

i wont buy oil anymore at walmart
my local bi-lo wholesales is still the same price as last year $3 qt and right next to my house. as a matter of fact now they are beating all wal mart oil prices except the 13.50 on maxlife blend.
it was good while it lasted

I've check multiple WMs, and can concur with you that they don't sell any 0W-20 in jugs (1.25 gallons). The closest you'll find in jugs are 5w-20 or 0w-30. The only way you will find 0w-20 is if you buy them by the quart, and they only have M1 or Valvoline Synpower in that viscosity.
