VWB is 15 and Maxlife blend is 14 here. That makes no sense. All other prices about the same. A couple of different WMs have them priced that way. I guess the WB is selling better around here.

They are a little Cheaper where you are at in Texas.

In NY the:
Shell Rotella T synthetic 5w-40 1 gallon is $19.00
Mobil Delvac 15w-40 1 gal is $10

as of 6/16/10, I just went to WalUnivers yesterday to check all the prices

I remember when I paid $4.01 per quart for Pennzoil Platinum. That was mid 2009. I'm going to try try Ultra this weekend for the [censored] of it as I need to change my oil. Can't wait.

I don't know, that what WalMart listed on the shelf. $18.00 for QuakerState Ultimate Durability Full Synthetic and $20.50 for Q Horsepower Full Synthetic.

That is somewhat strange considering most Wally's have closed out HP on clearance (red tag) for ~$10 a jug around here over a year ago.

Also noticed yesterday the QSHPUD had gone to $18.50 a jug at the Wally closest to me. Still a good deal, especially with the current $10 rebate.

MC5k has gone up .50 cents!?! Well I got to load back up at O'Reilly again before the sale ends. I just bought 5qts of MC5k and Havy DS for $20. Going back today to spend another $20 before all oil goes up by July. To the OP, someone posted that ST dino and syn was made by SOPUS in your area so that is what I would use if I was running dino in DFW.

Brain cramp!

It was the QS Torque Power that was closed out.

That said, QS HPUD and QS HP are likely the same thing. QSHP is the old name before the UD was added. The new UD label still has the word Horsepower on the label. It's still strange pricing.

Hey NightRiderQ45, the Mobil Clean 5000 has gone up to $11.50 from $11.00 and the one-quart has gone up to $2.77 from $2.57. By the way, Supertech Conventional and Supertech Full Synthetic are made by Speciality Oil Company in Houston, Texas which is an subsidary of Shell Oil Products United States also located in Houston, Texas. These oils are supplied for all of Texas including the Dallas-Fort Worth market and are identical to Pennzoil, Quakerstate, and Shell specifications.

My thoughts too. The 5qt in my area sell for the prices listed.

I am sure the Super Tech is good, but probably not as good as the others on your list. If it were equal, why buy the others that cost more?
