Offset tool for angle grinder

Wait........! You mean I don't need to tighten/loosen whenever putting a given disc on.......?

So maybe I'll just not tighten it soo tight from now on.

My brain is still trying to wrap around how it does not come loose. Rotation of disc vs thread direction I guess?

That’s how they work. The lock nut just needs to be snug. The rotation of the grinder and thread direction keep it tight. I tighten mine by pushing the lock and turning the wheel either on or off. I never had one loosen up on me.

I’ve always just used my hand for on/off, it does need to be that tight. Dewault has a hex cut in the nut so you can use an Allen wrench and Metabo has a hand tighten only special nut. Some people claim you are supposed to press the arbor lock button as it is coasting to loosen the nut.
If you’d like to add a tool to your collection these are available online

No idea. Trying to make a problem that nobody else sees?
I see now......yeah, @Donald is looking for a took to remove the wheel.........

like other said, just lock that bad boy, grab it with hands and it will come of, or it should, I do that all the time.

I hadn't thought too much about how the rotation keeps the nut tight. So thanks to the knowledgeable members,I will not over tighten that nut and not worry too much about that wrench

This replaces the grinding wheel in an angle grinder. It's made for angle grinder.

But the tool that came with the angle grinder is flat with two pins. That works as most grinding wheels are flat. But this is a little different. The tool needs to be offset to fit in there.
Hehe! The pin wrench that came with your grinder goes on the retaining nut.

The holes you see in the disc are not for that wrench! You still need to use the nut with those!
