Not surprised by what the dealership did. Years ago I worked at a dealership for a year. I had to leave because of all the lying. I won't do it. You wouldn't believe some of the stories.

And I know it aint got any better out there.

Spent two summers as the shop flunky at a multiple line dealership. The amount of thievery was incredible. They were eventually caught rolling back odometers and sold out to another dealer.

Sad state of affairs. I worked at a small town GM dealer as a kid. I guess small town word gets around because people came from miles around to buy, repeatedly, and the owner was a stand up guy. As I have mentioned, I started as the wash kid at about 16. He had no need to give me the time of day, yet he took the time and taught me much. I guess those days are over.
