No one on this trail for days. Odd. But it has been smokey
Just rented a week in February today, in addition to the week we own in December.
To rent a unit, go to Costa Linda Resales and Rentals and click on Rentals. Rental prices range from about $1,000 to $5,000 per week for a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo depending on the week and unit location, plus about $300 in taxes & fees. In the high season (first quarter) most rent for $3,500 to $4,500 for the week. Both sales and rentals go quickly as this resort is in great demand. We often invite friends for the 2nd bedroom and split the costs, so a $3,900 unit plus taxes & fees would equal $300/night for each bedroom, not bad for a resort in Aruba in the winter.
Yes already checked it out online. Gorgeous looking place, most prices we saw were closer to 3500 to 5k. Not ready for a trip yet and our Philippine trip last year was about the same. Plus wife gets to visit family there. Yes, again, two bedrooms arent needed for us. Beautiful place though, REALLY nice. Last time we were over that way was St Lucia 20 years ago, first time scuba diving experience was great.

I frequented the local water hole. One of my friends brought in a girl. She caught my eye instantly. I didn't talk with her then. They came over to my place after the bar closed that night. I remember a conversation about relationships coming up between her & I. I remember her saying "Well, I hope you find your special somebody". I ended up asking her if she was pregnant in a flirty joking way. Little did I know she had Scoliosis that made her pooch stick out a bit... woops!
The drinks kept going down & I let her know that I believe we had a lot in common. She went on home that night to talk all about me to her close friend. She messaged me on facebook to try & meet up again. I think it was a local July 4th fireworks show. Got to know each other well & we've been married for 14 years now. We were going to get married on 11-11-11 BUT that was Veterans day so we settled on 11-10-11.
I ended up adopting her son. One of the greatest moments of my life. We spend 24/7 together & have hardly any issues. The greatest perks of my life are my marriage & kids. I have three foster kids & they are keeping me busy! We will be adopting them. Our second run... never thought I'd do it again but it was my idea. ha! Thanks for reading this far.
Here's a 26yr old me & the family (circa 2011). The little guy is now 20 yrs old & in college. Must have paid off all of those reminders "Higher education, Higher pay". You can also pick out the 98' Eldorado I rolled in at the time.
Until the Head gaskets blew.

I made it to 41 years old last month!!! Yay!
