I'll have to respectfully disagree with you. While Zaino is a top quality wax it in no way comes close to NuFinish in durability and neither does Klasse. Duragloss does though. While I have not waxed full cars using these waxes I have tested them.
I have the hood off of a car and the paint is like new. It gets sections of it treated with all kinds of waxes and it sits year round in the back yard in the sun and weather. I spray it down with water and car soap once a month. When a certian wax stops beading water it's off the list. None have out lasted NuFinish.
Currently I'm not running any tests but I'll start them up again and post pictures along the way to show results.

I'm not quite sure how you've tested these products, but I know when applied to my vehicles Nufinish doesn't come close to lasting as long as Klasse, Duragloss, or Zaino products. It's common for Duragloss and Klasse products to last at least 6 months, and I've had Zaino still beading water after a year...and that's a year without any touch-ups on a vehicle that's never garaged. I've never seen Nufinish last more than 2 or 3 months.

if you read the op's post he tells you how he test's them.
READ THE POST.
i don't have a dog in this fight but reply-posting without apparent reading of a post is annoying.
for the record i use whatever is on sale or what floats through big lots.

I did, and he's doing touch-ups between waxings. I've had Zaino last a year with NO touch-ups and on a vehicle that sits outside ALL THE TIME to boot!

i was referring to the statement "i'm not quite sure how you have tested these products."when he stated that he has an auto hood that he uses as a test bed and told his procedure.
apparently you are referring to his waxing regimen.
two different things.

The car in the OP had regular Nufinish on it that was about 1 year old and was about done(It was not beading water very well any longer) I then applied the Cling and 3 months later it is still beading water like it was new. It's not hard to understand that, is it? I posted this to show that a newer product(Cling) was lasting 3+ months which is pretty dam good for a "quick detail spray wax".

Bottom line is in my experience and many other(on this forum and others)find that NuFinish products are some of the longest lasting waxes money can buy....period.

I have used many waxes in my life and yes, NuFinish is one of the longest lasting polishes that I have used. I have used Zaino in the past, and the longest I have had Zaino last was 4 to 5 months. The only boutique wax that lasts longer than NuFinish is a polish called Glare. It is also 5 times more expensive.

Anyone else find cling difficult to remove? You really need to get to removing it quickly or it is a [censored] to buff off. Other than that I likeit, just not as user friendly as a lot of detailers in my opinion, does last for a good long time however.

Not true. Zaino, Klasse, and Duragloss all last longer, but maybe you don't consider them "boutique" waxes.

Not in my experience.

The beading on the car looks very good.

I don't know why, but personally NuFinish never worked out for me. It was recommended to me by a body shop worker so I bought some, and hated it. Maybe I had a defective bottle or didn't apply it right, but I had a miserable time getting it off my car.

Then I went out and got some plain old Turtle Wax paste for about $3 and am very satisfied with it. It applies easy, rubs off easy, and seems to have lasting protection. Water always beads up on it well, so I guess that's the main thing. I apply it at least twice a year, usually in the Spring and Fall.

So you say it's been your experience Zaino lasted 4 or 5 months? And you've had NuFinish last longer than that? I'm gonna have to raise the [censored] flag on that one. Also, have you even tried Duragloss of Klasse products?

No I haven't used Klasse or Duragloss. I personally find it a waste of money to spend $$ on expensive boutique waxes and polishes when there are good OTC products that when applied properly will look just as good as the expensive stuff. I always get comments on how good my vehicles look and I now use the cheaper OTC products. Honestly, anything on your paint is better then putting nothing at all. Give me a good polisher and a good OTC polish or wax and it will come out just as good as the expensive stuff ( It may just not sound cool when you say that you used Mothers, or Mequiers instead of Zaino, Klasse, etc.).

Looking good wasn't the point. Long lasting was, and there are longer lasting waxes than NuFinish. All waxes look good if applied properly.

Well, For as long as I can remember I polish and wax my cars 3 times a year and this method has done me well over the years. Like I said, I have used expensive waxes in the past and in my oponion they are a waste of money. You can get the same result using a good OTC product and it will also last a long time. I would rather use the money I save on something else, like my kids.

Are you saving any money using a product like NuFinish 3 times a year vs using a product like Zaino once a year?

I did not say that I was using NuFinish. And the last time I used Zaino it lasted 6 months tops.

I suppose it depends on which version of the Zaino you used. I can't even remember which one I used that lasted a year, but I do remember it was a two step process. I can only imagine their newer products have only gotten better though.

Sounds just like another common argument around here. Extended drain intervals with a quality synthetic versus more frequent changes with a cheaper dino.

Just got done waxing my winter car with MeGuiars NXT 2.0. I claim it lasts 6 months grampi says "no way". He may be right, but when winter is over it sure seems like even more than 6 months.

MeGuiar's rocks
Dura Gloss rocks "I guess"
Nu Finish works fantisic for brass polishing for reloading

With me being the only one on my block who waxes their car, I spose it really doesn't matter.

That's hilarious!!!!!

This truck is 15yrs old and 200k miles, has sat outside 365 days a year in all kinds of weather from 6yrs of the hot Vegas desert, to the Colorado [censored] rain and brittle winters.

I've used Meguires liquid gold wax (of which I don't care for), plain turtle wax, Nufinish (for several years), and other brands I can't think of right now....but all in all, the one product I keep going back to every time....Mother's synwax

Love it! Makes this truck SHINE and proud to say this truck has no visible signs of oxidation/rust, etc. This truck has been driven off-road a LOT, lives down a 10 mile dirt road and has been/traveled all over the country.

I will say though, in my experience of trying tons of different waxes, Mother's works GREAT on burgundy/reds/greens/blues; Nufinish is superb on my white dodge diesel, but terrible for lasting length or shine on my 2 burgundy trucks.
