While my new vehicle topping is Griotts 3:1 I found myself needing to polish / wax her car in full so light on an 80 degree F. day. Nu Finish is one of the few toppings that can be applied on a hot sunny day to vehicle paint without streaming , clumping, etc. While no longer my first choice it did apply and remove without much trouble on this well maintained vehicle. Yes the dust is still present and you must keep it away from trim but it’s still a viable , decent product if you need to detail a vehicle on a sunny hot day with no shade.

I currently have 3/4 of a bottle of Collinite 845 left and hate the stuff. -Nice shine but difficult to work with. I used NuFinish last time on my wife's Volvo. It still the easiest to use and one of best protector of paints-may not shine as much as some but that's OK. And yes can be applied in many conditions.

Seems like a lot of work for nothing - 3:1 works fine on its own. Regardless of the claims, most of these products last less than 3 months anyway.
I do not believe 3:1 can be used in full sun on hot surfaces while Nu Finish can.
