Hi,

My paint is in very good condition overall. However, I got some door dings. I filled these imperfections with Honda Touch-up paint. But do to application temperatures or imperfect application technique, the touch up paint spots looks bad. Any suggestions how I might fix these?

Thanks...

You could have the spots repaired with paint-less dent removal.

They would get out the sandpaper and be down to your clear coat in no time flat. I had about 4 dings in the same area removed. You can't see them anymore.

I watched him doing it but wouldn't recommend anyone doing so. The process looked pretty grim but the results were very good.

Is it metallic paint? Is the problem uneven surface or color match or both? Post pictures.

I'd probably start with some rubbing compound on a cotton swab in a rotary (dremel) tool to remove most if not all the touch-up paint, providing it has fully cured. If it hasn't then I'd wait or take a razor blade to it, carefully.
