Is it my imagination or it it true that there seems to be a dearth of oil analyses for Cadillacs on BITOG?

I see many for the Audi and BMW and other higher end machines but proportionately less for Cadillacs.

And not just in the UOA section are they scarce. Don't BITOGers own Caddies?

I think to the contrary that Caddy owners aren't the Bitog type.

I just don't know to many "hands on" mechanical types that buy caddies. I think it's just a demographical issue.

Or their guts. We should all be so lucky as to get to that ripe age!

I'd think Caddy owners take their cars in for service, and don't care much beyond that.

The CTS and STS of recent years are not your father's Cadillac! Much more sport's car like; much more like an Audi or Bimmer.

It's true, they're definitely aiming at these marques.

On my next oil change, I'll post the starting time, the ending time + pictures how to do an oil change on a 3.6l CTS

Dont need to jack the car. Just turn the wheels to the left side= here's the drain plug.

Filter: cartridge, next to the oil dipstick, right on top of the engine.

15 minutes if you take your time.

The 3.6L is used in multiple GM vehicles.

You might find UOAs for the 3.6L if you search for the engine instead of specifically the Cadillac.
