yes you've read it correctly, that what was confusing to me too; the car 2019 with nearly 50K miles on its odometer, how it could be tax expensive;

I was told by the loan officer that Tesla did some upgrades/reconditioning to it, such as a new battery pack and a electric motor so somehow the car is to be in new/pristine condition again... seriously!??

its very hard for me to comprehend how the customer was willing to pay for it that much; just nuts!

Quick edit: This was 3 hours after regular tire belt separated.

New front bumper, new inner fender, new driver rocker panel (trim,) and apparently two new headlights (for replace in pairs) separate from the wiring harness damage that somehow got ripped out and some ground through on the tire, needing horn re-wired.. ~$1000.
