Oh good lord, stop! I know this is nothing to you guys up north and a lot of places out west, but seriously.
Oh yeah, have I mentioned my disdain for cold, wet weather?
I’m starting to wonder if I live far enough down south. I’m thinking I might need to be down where 4WD is based on his recent pics.

I hate wet but really don't mind cold as I can get warm or dress appropriately. I despise hot. I just can't work out in it anymore. No way to stay cool in the hot no matter how I dress.

I have a set of those Guinness Gravity Pint glasses as well. The first part of enjoying a Guinness for me is pouring it in that glass and watching it settle. Cheers!

I can work all day every day in hot, humid weather, it just doesn't bother me. When everyone else is dropping like flies, I keep on going. The cold, that's a different story, I need my diaper changed every hour or so.

USS INDEPENDENCE CV-62. My uncle was on this aircraft carrier

Rode her out of the yard in Philly back around 1989 or '90ish? after an overhaul.
They did a shakedown and cat cert. Bombs hadn't been flown on the F-14 since the 1970s tests (which were dismal and discontinued). To cert the cat, I was test conductor for loading an F-14D up to 74k lbs with 2000 lb bombs on the weapons rails and water in external tanks. She could launch at that weight with no burner.
Took the COD back to PAX. Fun times.
