Took this last fall in the parking lot of a local Dunkin' Had about a 10 minute conversation with the driver after he saw me taking the shot.

Said it was his wife's idea.

Not sure I posted this previously; Chapman Falls @ the Devils Hopyard, East Haddam CT; 60ft waterfall cascading over metamorphic schists.

Well attended state park 12 months a year; downstream camping available.

Falls area is remarkably accessible, there are no prohibitions on simply walking out to where the water is.

I regularly have A-10 Warthogs flying directly over my place. They are something else with a distinct sound. Just by the sound I know exactly what is coming. Awesome aircraft.

I live next to an Air Force base, under the landing pattern for Reagan, and work on a Naval Air Station. Never get tired of the constant sound.

I passed a Penske truck on 101 today. The loading ramp was deployed. The driver exited the freeway before I could make him aware of the situation. My apologies for the subpar and blurry image.

Santa has arrived. Lol. Sorry for the dark picture but I see lots of goodies under here. Now I just have to get my dad out of the bed so I can open my stuff lol. Me and my mom are up and ready. This year they told me I don’t have to wait on my sister and her family to get here .
