B-2 caught on Google satellite imagery (doesn’t show up on Apple Maps, appears to be a different point in the year on theirs). The weird shimmery distorted effect is from how the satellites take these photos. They take a red, blue, and green image and then they’re laid on top of each other to get a normal looking photo.

I had one of those fly over my head in the dark of night and it was very eerie to say the least
Had a vacuum cleaner sound to it...

We once had what I think was a F-15 SCREAM over our house… we all ran outside to see it. 2 minutes later it flew back over, and at our house the pilot started climbing, he was low enough we could feel and smell the exhaust off of it! The noise it made was incredible, but definitely kind of like a vacuum cleaner!

During the bad times after 9/11 we had Nato flying over and I was up on my roof of a new garage working
and a f16? I assume flew over and he was circling me, and he was so low I could see him clearly and once I was on the ground he flew back over
and I got this sick feeling that if I was a solider on the ground there was no way in escaping that plane.
Even in the woods I would be doomed.... really!

Also the plane was very small to me and surprisingly very old-yeah old!

I regularly have A-10 Warthogs flying directly over my place. They are something else with a distinct sound. Just by the sound I know exactly what is coming. Awesome aircraft.
