I have a Charger 12 that belonged to my great grandfather that I am wanting to get going someday. Saved it from getting scrapped sadly. Dad has his Ford 1500 that we use all the time.

I’ve become good friends with a dairy farmer down the road. He’s 86. I go down and chat with him a few times a month. Anyways, he was friends with a guy who owned/ ran a tractor dealership with his dad. He bought a semi of WH’s and his dad shamed him for getting them saying they’ll never sell. He laughed and went on to say he sold 3 semi’s worth that summer. Lol.

Here’s the Charger the day I took it out of storage and took it to my cat free and dry pole barn. Nothing fancy, but sentimental. The hood isn’t original/ correct as it was allowed to sit in cat urine by my dads mother and step father. She originally didn’t want us getting the tractor, but dad’s grandmother said to go ahead and take it as it was technically still hers.

I grew up in farm country with the nearest store 9 miles away..it is the east coast so not 60 miles..lol

That said it was funny but only 400 yards from a very old garage that sold wheel horses and was a big time dealer... They were super expensive in the day.

When I was 14 i was in a full leg cast and I sent them a picture of me mowing and they had me in some of their advertisements.. Sent me a ton of wh goodies too.

My mom used mercurocrome on me as a kid. Was just thinking about that the other day. Why is it off the market? Perhaps it worked too good. Never had Cod liver oil but used Fotomat quite a bit before their quality went south.

There are more effective antiseptics that are less toxic than mercurochrome (mercury and bromine).
