It needs to be an eligible and rebuildable core. They are certain stipulations to getting your core credit. Just some of the stipulations that I recall:
1) The trans cannot have any missing components
2) You have to turn in a core that was for the vehicle that you purchased the reman trans for.
3) There cannot be an external damage to the case (it must be a rebuildable core)
The core charge is significant and Nissan is very stingy these days.
