Nokian Entyre

Shopping for tires for a 07 Accord. Came across these at Simpletire.com

I don't have any real knowledge of Nokian as a company (or this offering), other than they seem to get really good reviews on simpletire.com

I have nokian entyre 2 on my GS. They are good tires. They are great in rain or standing water.I drive 55 mph on blacktop and they don't hydroplane.

Nokian is more known for their winter tires, and also their all-season tire with the 3-peak logo called the WRG series.

The Entyre is a regular all-season, nothing special.

If you only want to use one set of tires year-round, the WRG4 is a better choice. The WRG4 was introduced a few months ago, so you might be able to get a good deal on the outgoing WRG3.

Entyre or Entyre 2.0?

I have them on my Mazda5 in 205/50/17, 93XL, 560 wear rating, made in June/August 2016, Made in Russia. Installed 08/17.

Also user SatinSilver has them on a Toyota Matrix. I think he's 94xl, 700 wear rating.

They are an A/S tire, regular M+S. Nothing even close to their/Nokian winter or 4-seasons tires.

I didn't drive it in winter, but wife didn't complain. So I guess they worked.

Will sometime spin when you are the starting car in an intersection (oil patch?). dry or wet does not matter. not really a heavy foot.

I have drove it in regular traffic + highway, and they are pretty quiet, but not super quiet.

I have the impression that my former Cooper RS3-A where more grippy, but the car's back never slide with the Entyres on.

Also, they are not produced anymore, being replaced by at least a year by Entyre 2.0
So you may be getting 2016 stock.

any other questions, simpletire are quick to pickup the phone and really helpful. US based help.

I have Entyre 2 on my Odyssey. It is ok tire if you can get a good deal on. Otherwise, great tire in wet condition, but here in SoCal, not much use. Starting to develop slightly growling sound over 10K miles.

As happy as I am with my Entyre 2.0's, I would more than likely get the Entyre if I had another car that needed the size your looking for. I have no experience with the Entyre, it is a completely different tire than the 2.0 model. I will be putting the Entyre C/S on my wife's SUV when the time comes.

But the value deal of the day belongs to Cooper Tires Mastercraft LSR Grand Touring at $59.16 as of this moment. Will the price change at any moment, any day or at all???? Is any ones guess. But at this moment here it is.

Any experience with the WRG4? At least on paper, that seems a better fit for the upper midwest.

Thanks for posting this. I ordered a pair on Wed. Tires already are here. Looks like a solid tire, in that price range.

Happy to hear you got the deal, and with fast shipping. I have a good feeling they will serve you well for a lot of miles. I usually push the Nokian brand because I really like my set, but this Mastercraft deal was to good to not pass along to you.
