Super techs 30W No Additive oil has changed into HD30W Oil. My new Tire changer wants 30W oil for the pneumatic lubrication, so I probably shouldn't use this HD30W Additive oil and pay more for the Briggs & Stratton 30W 4 Stroke oil? Or what would be the best option here? Hopefully this is in the right place.

Also it says to cover it in diesel to keep it clean, can I just use motor oil? I have a bunch of mixed vehicle synthetic oil left over from doing oil changes.

The wm listing I saw confused both of them in the same listing but in store I never found this HD30 just the ND30. Check yours and stock up if you want to. That briggs oil is probably detergent. Unless it says non detergent it has it.

Checking my Walmart order from 2023 was the only way to tell that they secretly switched the listing.

Are you looking in the motor oil aisle? Because my WM moved it over to the waxes & antifreeze aisle. It's labelled "lubricating oil" with a disclaimer about not being for cars made after 1930-ish. Honestly, good for them, makes it harder for the ignorant to buy the stuff accidentally for their cars.

MY WM has a shelf for small engine stuff. The ND-30 and the lawn mower 10w30 are there along with the small bottles of 2-stroke oils. Right above it are the small engine spark plugs.
