Nissan Turbo Diesel

Hello everybody

I´m in México and I bought a new 2010 Nissan Workhorse Turbo Diesel YD25DDTi engine. In my country only sell Mobil 1 Delvac 5w-40 ESP API CF 4/SM, MB 228.3, Cummins CES20081, CAT ECF-3.

It´s the right oil????

You can't go wrong with Delvac. What visc/cert/spec does the manual recommend?

I find it hard to believe that product is the "only" diesel oil available.

Is the CF rating the only one on that product in that market? I would have expected it to carry something CI or higher.

Yes this is the one and only syntetic OIL for diesel
and the Mineral
Mobil Delvac 15W-40
Delvac MX 15W-40
Delvac MX 111 20W-50
DElvac 25W-50
Mono Grade 1340 & 1350

OK - thanks for the clarification. Perhaps it is a language translational issue, but you first stated that "In my country only sell Mobil 1 Delvac 5w-40 ESP ..." and that lead me to believe you only have ONE oil in all of Mexico.


I'm not familiar with the engine; what are the oil specs? I suspect that the Devlac 1 ESP will work fine.
