I do not own one, have family that does. I know they are fairly reliable. The AT and Coolant issue has been fixed. The rear seats are tight on the Crew Cab if that matters. MPG is not great either, but if the size fit I wouldn’t have a problem owning one.

There is bit of fake news in this thread from people who have no experience with Nissan trucks. They are great trucks. I bought the Titan and Frontier pictured in 2015. Both were dealer owned trucks with less than 5,000 miles. They both have right at 100k now. Both run like new. The Frontier is a 15.
My dad still has a 01 supercharged frontier he bought new. It has 329k and its never had a major issues until recently. The torque converter failed.
A 17 Frontier is a very safe bet.

very pleased with my lo mile 2011 SV king cab i bought a few years ago after my fine but sluggish 08 colorado 4 banger got bit by a tree!!! mpgs about the same + better power for sure + love the 6 spd manual, the only transmission i usually buy. my older but lo miler got ALL fresh redline fluids shortly after purchase + opted for 75-90 in the rear i average 19 mpgs mostly local hilly driving. 5 to 10 was the transmission fluid-coolant issue that can be easily fixed, befoer of course. i always check specific model forums to learn more before i buy. truck rides well but a wider turning circle + would buy again + its better pricing is surely welcome in todays inflated living costs!! as for braking, mine was good as is but EBC yellow pads + typical braking upkeep made them BETTER, but pads prolly wear a bit fast. on that note i live in a hilly area + haul house coal yearly with more confidence now!
